Narrative:

I was taxied up to the ILS hold line for runway 17 at phl. I monitored phl tower frequency and I heard him clear another aircraft behind me for an immediate takeoff. As the aircraft skirted around me from behind, I told the tower that I too was ready for departure. The tower then told me to taxi and hold, upon which I repeated his instructions by telling him that I was going into position for runway 17. After being in position for 3 mins, an small transport flew over me at 20' clearance and landed. I then talked to the tower and he told me that he had only instructed me to taxi and hold at the next hold line. I never for a minute doubted the tower's instructions because I repeated them back to him.

Title: ATX ACFT TAXIED INTO POS AND HOLD AND HAS AN SMT LAND OVER THE TOP OF HIM.

Narrative: I WAS TAXIED UP TO THE ILS HOLD LINE FOR RWY 17 AT PHL. I MONITORED PHL TWR FREQ AND I HEARD HIM CLR ANOTHER ACFT BEHIND ME FOR AN IMMEDIATE TKOF. AS THE ACFT SKIRTED AROUND ME FROM BEHIND, I TOLD THE TWR THAT I TOO WAS READY FOR DEP. THE TWR THEN TOLD ME TO TAXI AND HOLD, UPON WHICH I REPEATED HIS INSTRUCTIONS BY TELLING HIM THAT I WAS GOING INTO POS FOR RWY 17. AFTER BEING IN POS FOR 3 MINS, AN SMT FLEW OVER ME AT 20' CLRNC AND LANDED. I THEN TALKED TO THE TWR AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD ONLY INSTRUCTED ME TO TAXI AND HOLD AT THE NEXT HOLD LINE. I NEVER FOR A MINUTE DOUBTED THE TWR'S INSTRUCTIONS BECAUSE I REPEATED THEM BACK TO HIM.
