Narrative:

During the takeoff roll, at V1 of 121 KIAS, a bird was struck by the left wing root spraying the bird into the left engine and causing a power loss. Takeoff was continued, the engine was shut down per checklist and an uneventful landing was made. I don't really feel anything could have been done to prevent this situation.

Title: BIRD STRIKES WING ON TKOF. INGESTED INTO ENGINE. SHUT DOWN, RETURN, LAND.

Narrative: DURING THE TKOF ROLL, AT V1 OF 121 KIAS, A BIRD WAS STRUCK BY THE LEFT WING ROOT SPRAYING THE BIRD INTO THE LEFT ENG AND CAUSING A PWR LOSS. TKOF WAS CONTINUED, THE ENG WAS SHUT DOWN PER CHKLIST AND AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG WAS MADE. I DON'T REALLY FEEL ANYTHING COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO PREVENT THIS SITUATION.
