Narrative:

When gear was extended for landing, 3 green lights illuminated (no red gear unsafe illuminated) and then a few seconds later the right green light flickered and went out. A missed approach was executed, ATC was advised of the problem and we were vectored to an area to determine the problem. Circuit breaker's were checked as well as checking the abnormals sections of the cockpit operating manual. The gear was then reselected down. We got 3 green lights and after discussion with msp dispatch and maintenance, determined the gear was down and locked. We returned to mdw and executed the approach with no further incident. The F/a's prepared the passenger for an emergency landing as a precaution. Also, the fire trucks were called as a further precaution.
