Narrative:

On approach into dfw, the controller cleared us for a turn onto the ILS final for 35L. While descending from 4000' to 3000' MSL on final approach, the G/south director began to command large up and down corrections to the G/south. At 2600' sml, in the WX with mod turbulence, the captain and first officer decided to abandon the approach and go around. While being vectored, we were told by approach there was a suspected malfunction with the ILS on 35L and we would be vectored for a landing on runway 36R. Approach and landing were normal, except for a 15-20 KT windshear on final. After landing, dfw operations informed us 4 aircraft had gone around for the same reason.
