Narrative:
Was kept fast by ATC; and while configuring for landing; inadvertently had a 5 knot flap overspeed when selecting flaps 3.a little tired. Accepted an ATC clearance to keep our speed up too long. Recent return to flying after 6 month absence.I will feel free to tell ATC 'unable' in such scenarios in the future.
