Narrative:
At 11;000 feet flight attendant called; notified of passenger face mask non-compliance; causing a distraction with announcement location and announcement briefing. Once on course with runway xx; approximately 2-3 miles before zzzzz; during flap extension to flaps 45; autopilot disconnected. We believe the autopilot disconnected because during flap extension speed dropped off. As the first officer was adding power and correcting; autopilot disconnected. First officer then hand flew and we tried autopilot again. It engaged normally.
