Narrative:
During taxi out for takeoff; we received the following message: captain you have to return to the gate or at least the alley because ZZZ ramp did not secure the hazmat in accordance with FAA required guidelines. We returned to gate; and parked the aircraft. While I coordinated; the ramp crew properly secured the hazmat; and once we confirmed that we were legal and our rls was still valid to continue; we departed without further incident.

Narrative: During taxi out for takeoff; we received the following message: Captain you have to return to the gate or at least the alley because ZZZ ramp did not secure the Hazmat in accordance with FAA required guidelines. We returned to gate; and parked the aircraft.
