Narrative:
The flight was on a visual approach clearance arriving from the south east. The flight remained at the MSA 4;100 ft. Until terrain clearance was assured. At that time a gradual decent was initiated to reach the pattern altitude of 2;800 ft. A momentary egpws annunciation occurred just before the gear was down an locked.aircraft annunciation [egpws]approximate terrain clearance and aircraft configuration. Egpws escape maneuver initiated.
