Narrative:

On final approach to runway xx in ZZZ; when flaps were selected from 20 to 25; we got a te flap disagree message. We notified the tower; performed a go around; and ran the QRH checklist for the caution message. We were vectored around for another approach; and requested priority handling due to the longer landing distance; higher landing speed; and uncertainty of our exact flap setting. Once we landed; we chose to clear the runway and cancel the priority request. We wrote up the flap malfunction in the aml and let line maintenance know.
