Narrative:
At time of landing; ZZZ ATIS reported sky clear; 10 statute miles of visibility; wind 290 at 8 kts. After making a stabilized approach; right traffic for runway; I came across the threshold at about 75 kts. I touched down; then the left wing came up; the plane veered right; on its right wheel. I tried to correct this with left rudder and left aileron; with no success. The plane went off the right side of the runway; hitting a runway lamp with the propeller. I braked and we stopped in the grass near the confluence of the two runways. There were no injuries to me nor my passenger; and it appears the only damage to the plane is the prop strike. Given lack of crosswind and loss of rudder control; it may be a mechanical issue. We have filed an insurance claim and hope to learn more.
