Narrative:
FD (flight deck) door became jammed when ca (captain) came out to use the lav & would not open. Ca had me remove the pin from the inside; he had to rip the door open to gain access to FD. We propped door up in the opening & to ensure it stayed in place for landing I took the beverage 1/2 cart; placed it sideways; with brake on; against the door. The ca was aware & agreed with this decision. We landed safely & without incident.
