Narrative:

Hard landing resulting in minor damage to brake calipers and a tail strike. As the pilot not flying (CFI); the student was attempting his 2nd landing. He got too slow and pitched up too quickly; resulting in a stall on the runway. I failed to increase power in a timely manner resulting in a nose high hard landing. The landing did not feel particularly hard but upon return to ZZZ I noticed the left wheel brake was inoperative; nearly resulting in a ground loop during taxi to parking. I notified the FBO maintenance personnel of the issue. Upon further inspection by maintenance the left caliper was loose due to damage and it appears the tail stuck the ground.
