Narrative:
While taxing after landing on [runway] xxl at ZZZ [I] was not prepared to exit as directed taxiway xx. Tower directed me to exit and I was going to fast to make a safe exit. My fault I should have continued down runway and slowed down to acceptable speed and make a U turn or request next taxiway. My aircraft did a uncontrolled U turn and stopped on the edge of runway xxl just short of taxiway xx. Tail swung around and hit taxiway sign. I was able to exit and moved tail clear of sign and continued to taxiway X.
