Narrative:

After switching to 122.35 unicom, I was advised that runway 23 was in use. After calling an extended base leg, I went through the gump check and called turning final. I went to full flaps. The landing was smooth. I started to clean up the cockpit bringing up flaps, pushing in carburetor heat and retrimming, when I inadvertently raised the gear handle! I do not remember making a conscious move to raise the gear. The nose settled to the runway and the right gear started to retract allowing the right wing tip to scrape. Mixture was pulled to cut off. Engine master and ignition were switched off. We stopped straight ahead. No injuries or fire. No have had 23 previous lndgs in this aircraft with no problems. I have tried to reconstruct the motion of my right hand in this incident and feel that when I finished retrimming the elevation my hand continued up to the carburetor heat and bumped the gear up. I believe that since this was to be a full stop landing, there should have been no hurry in cleaning up the cockpit. Having flown for 50 yrs west/O an incident and approximately 135 hours in 1990, I was quite disappointed in my performance. I had previously gone through the pilot proficiency program FAA promotes phase I. There is a possibility that the gear handle was not in the down indent position, even though a visibility with 3 green and pressure up was observed. A bump may have started the sequence.

Title: A MATURE GA PLT RAISES THE GEAR ON ROLLOUT AFTER LNDG.

Narrative: AFTER SWITCHING TO 122.35 UNICOM, I WAS ADVISED THAT RWY 23 WAS IN USE. AFTER CALLING AN EXTENDED BASE LEG, I WENT THROUGH THE GUMP CHK AND CALLED TURNING FINAL. I WENT TO FULL FLAPS.
