Narrative:

Upon pushback and start-up in ZZZ the wingwalker and marshal gave the all clear salute. Problem was; the headset was still connected to the ground agent and he was still below. The captain relayed the danger in what happened; but I'm not sure the guy understood what he was saying since it varied from the script of the typical push back. Had the captain not been paying attention the incident could have ended tragically.
