After pushback and the salute from spot xx; vehicles were bumper to bumper not giving way to us on the service road even with our taxi lights on. I turned on the fixed landing lights and vehicles still do not stop. We had to wait until there was a break in traffic to taxi-out. The scimitar wing could impact a catering truck.
