Narrative:
While taxing into parking; I was taxied over the elevator tie down rope to park into into the spot and the engine sucked the tie down rope through the spinner causing a sudden stoppage. I think what caused this was as I was trying to park in the spot; and an increase in thrust picked up the rope causing the engine to suck it in. I believe the wind could have always been a contributing factor to lift the rope.
