Narrative:

While conducting a maintenance verification flight and after applying takeoff power we had the following cass (continuous analysis and surveillance system) messages: ap fail; yaw damper fail; ventral rudder fail. We got up to less than jogging speed when we rejected the takeoff. We immediately alerted ATC; exited the runway; and taxied back to the ramp. After shutting down the aircraft I contacted our company maintenance and dispatch.
