Narrative:

I was on final approach, approximately 40-50' from runway with gear down. I intended to switch on the left landing light when I accidentally hit the gear switch next to it. The wheels came up and by the time I noticed the red light, I was on the runway. I did not hear the horn, although when it was tested later, it worked correctly. Part of the problem was fatigue, thus slower reactions. Part was low time night landing experience, which is why that practice flight. Part was the location of the gear switch, next to the light switch. One correction would be to move the gear switch to a different location and change the switch cover.
