Narrative:
After push and disconnect; the towbar came loose from the tug. At that time; I was in the middle of the after start flow and left the APU on. It was not noticed until later in the flight. This in turn led to maintenance write-up due to fuel totalizer disagreement which was caused by the APU fuel burn enroute.
