Narrative:

I notified a few days after my flight that [company] sent two passenger close out notices. We must have missed the second notice and used the first notice for our takeoff performance calculations. The second notice is the one that was correct I was told. We used the passenger numbers from the first notice. We must have been distracted by other preflight duties when the second notice came in. Maybe the company could make some sort of priority message when the ACARS gives us notices.
