Narrative:
We were parked [and] the plane had just been taxied over from the hangar by maintenance. When I got on the airplane I noticed we were missing the placard above the psu (passenger service unit) panel that instructs how to close the mcd (main cabin door). When maintenance brought the placard he told me to stop pointing out the missing placard; even though it's a no go item. I'm not sure why the maintenance guy told me to stop pointing out the missing placards. When airplanes go through the hangar for maintenance; maybe they start looking for these missing no go placards.
