Narrative:

After pushback; operations informed us that a dg item had to be relocated to another cargo bin. We advised that we received a no dg message. Operations then informed us that a lithium battery had to be relocated. We advised operations that section 9.30.3 of the fom states no lithium batteries are to be loaded. Operations then said they were removing batteries. Departed uneventfully.

Title: B737 flight crew reported being notified to return to gate to correct Hazmat load configuration error. Flight crew additionally reported no NOTOC provided to crew. Hazmat removed prior to departure.
