Narrative:

Backcourse 19L ict. After being vectored onto final approach course and being advised of position, power was reduced to gear operation speed. The gear up warning led me to believe I was over the OM and started to descend. Approach control advised that they were showing me below assigned altitude (not yet at FAF). After xng OM approximately 300' below alert altitude executed missed approach. Accepted vectors to front course ILS 19R.
