Narrative:
Approximately 1 minute into tow; after receiving clearance from ramp tower to push off of gate and then proceed in the direction of ground tower; I was nearly run into by a young man working ramp and driving a tug. He decided to drive from east to west on a designated roadway across a taxiway; in front of a B767 wide body aircraft; with more than enough time to stop and wait. While I towed; it would have been impossible to stop completely. His actions caused a very narrow miss and certain serious injury(s).
