Narrative:
Climbing out of sjc at 7;900 [feet]; we had a near miss with a drone. It passed off the left hand side of the aircraft at extremely close proximity. The flashing red light caught my attention and I saw it as we flew by. ATC was unaware of drone location.

Narrative: Climbing out of SJC at 7;900 [feet]; we had a near miss with a drone. It passed off the left hand side of the aircraft at extremely close proximity. The flashing red light caught my attention and I saw it as we flew by. ATC was unaware of drone location.
