Narrative:

Departed runway 07R anc on the KNIK2 SID. The departure requires a left turn at 2000 ft. Or 4 DME whichever occurs first. After takeoff while just starting our turn we got a terrain warning from ATC and directive to turn left immediately for terrain. Our aircraft was right on the magenta line and we were beginning the turn at exactly the same time ATC contacted us to turn. I am filing the fsap so future crews may be aware of this. Possibly enter a note on the 10-7 page regarding that departure and prompt turn.
