Narrative:

In cruise FL370 approximately ZZZ VOR; flight attendant calls cockpit to advise up to 10 passengers around row 38 in cabin all smell electrical burning smell. Flight attendant advises they do not smell anything. I advise flight attendant to pay close attention to [the] area and keep me advised. A few minutes later she calls back to advise me that several other passengers are also noticing the same smell and that it is coming and going. At that time; we decide to divert to nearest airport. We advise dispatcher and [advised] ATC and diverted to ZZZ.
