Departed egll on the gasgu 1J. Climbed to 6;000 feet. As we leveled off a drone went by the aircraft at close distance. Estimate drone altitude between 5;000-6;000 feet. Captain immediately reported event to ATC. No evasive maneuvering done to avoid drone.
