Narrative:

I was training a trnee on ground control. When we weren't busy he told aircraft to taxi to runway 28L, when he meant to say 28C. Crossed runway 28C to runway 28L west/O coordination. No incident occurred. The pilot didn't know anything wrong had happened until we questioned him. I missed my trnee's transmission. Suggestions: trnees need to think about what they are saying, rather than just saying it. Trners need to listen to every transmission and word.
