Upon gate arrival at destination ZZZ; I was informed by the flight attendant that a passenger asked for water; and was given a full large bottle of water. Unbeknownst to the flight attendant; that bottle was reportedly full to capacity with straight clear grain alcohol; the passenger said. The bottle was transferred into the custody of the gate supervisor in ZZZ.
