Narrative:

Upon arrival at the airport from a layover, the cockpit crew and 1 F/a entered the ramp area through a service gate. No security was in evidence. Airport security guards met us at our dispatch area and escorted us through normal security procedures. They took our names and required us to show driver's licenses. We were all in uniforms and displaying identification's. Don't know if this is an ASRS event, but with increasing security awareness it should be.
