Narrative:

Air carrier X was instructed to taxi to runway 5L, hold short of runway 5 at taxiway november. The aircraft taxied from the ramp to taxiway sierra and was expected to taxi via lima taxiway to november taxiway and hold short of runway 5R. The aircraft, however, followed the green centerline lights on taxiway sierra and almost taxied onto runway 5R. The aircraft was stopped by the ground controller prior to entering runway 5R. At the same time, air carrier Y, an medium large transport, was cleared for takeoff on runway 5R. No runway incursion occurred or evasive action taken, but it was only because of the quick actions of the ground controller.
