Narrative:

Our pre departure clearance had a revised segment clearing us from jefpo to zadon; removing jefpo; then on course 343; expect radar vectors on course. The remarks segment of the pre departure clearance; however; had a remark 'after jefpo expect rv on course.' as these two statements were clearly contradictory; we contacted clearance delivery for clarification. ATC did want us to fly the 343 after jefpo. I only bring this up as it could lead a crew to fly the revised segment vs 343 on the SID.

Title: Air Carrier Captain reported confusing remarks in the PDC clearance.

Narrative: Our PDC had a revised segment clearing us from JEFPO to ZADON; removing JEFPO; then on course 343; EXPECT RADAR Vectors on course. The remarks segment of the PDC; however; had a remark 'AFTER JEFPO EXPECT RV ON COURSE.' As these two statements were clearly contradictory; we contacted clearance delivery for clarification. ATC did want us to fly the 343 after JEFPO. I only bring this up as it could lead a crew to fly the revised segment vs 343 on the SID.
