Narrative:

During preflight it was not noticed that the FMS had the wrong aircraft database load on it. The date was correct but the database load was wrong. Entered in the FMS was a load for a [different model aircraft]. And not the load for a 767. Later; in the day after a turn. I had the same airplane and this was brought up to my attention. The wrong database was loaded on a previous flight and was not solved before our flight. And; on our flight it was not noticed as well. Just adherence to the [flight manual] and; a not hurried approach to the cockpit set up.
