Narrative:
On climb out from ZZZ we noticed a strong odor that I would describe as a pack (pneumatic air conditioning kit) odor; specifically a hot pack. We had no ECAM messages. I consulted the QRH and felt the cabin air poor quality procedure may help even though we had no complaints from the cabin. After running the procedure; the odor dissipated and air quality became acceptable; we went back to a normal configuration. We also submitted a [maintenance request] for maintenance to take a look at the issue upon arrival in ZZZ1.on descent the odor started to return though not as strong; we landed uneventfully.
