Narrative:

Departed rock springs thinking I had enough fuel, but forgot about an alternate. Since den was sky obscured, 3000' RVR snow flurries, filed V4 to den. Was vectored via another route, but not that far. Aircraft burns 30 gph. Departed with 80 gals (not enough for altitude and 45 mins). Declared critical fuel, but not priority handling or an emergency, so was vectored in sequence. Made the approach and engines quit on rollout. Just plain poor judgement.
