Narrative:

Upon landing and short roll out aircraft began a turn toward the south edge of runway xx at ZZZ. Winds were light 180/4. Aircraft was being flown by me as a contract pilot to owner to fly off 40 hour experimental initial operation.as I thought the track of the aircraft was to shortly leave the runway I applied brakes and the aircraft nosed over onto its nose. Prop contacted the runway and engine stopped. Damage to prop spinner; prop and cowling.no injury to pilot or personnel.
