Air carrier X en route to ord via oxi V340. Air carrier X was descended out of FL240 to 16000'. The traffic was small transport Y en route to dtw via bvt-fwa-dtw. Traffic was not pointed out on my scope, so I was unaware of the traffic and did not see the limited data block on my scope prior to starting air carrier X down.

Narrative: ACR X ENRTE TO ORD VIA OXI V340. ACR X WAS DSNDED OUT OF FL240 TO 16000'. THE TFC WAS SMT Y ENRTE TO DTW VIA BVT-FWA-DTW. TFC WAS NOT POINTED OUT ON MY SCOPE, SO I WAS UNAWARE OF THE TFC AND DID NOT SEE THE LIMITED DATA BLOCK ON MY SCOPE PRIOR TO STARTING ACR X DOWN.
