Narrative:
We were on radar vectors to the ILS 31R at jfk. We had received delaying turns and were finally turned over to the final approach controller. All 3 of us heard the frequency and heard the first officer repeat it. He changed frequency and called ny approach and gave our call sign, heading and altitude. The controller responded with a 'roger.' as we passed through the localizer, the first officer again called the controller giving our call sign, heading and altitude. Again the controller responded with, 'roger.' I then called in a more forceful tone and requested what his intentions were for us. He responded, 'are you landing ewr?' I replied, 'no, we are landing at kennedy.' he sent us over to the correct jfk approach frequency and we were vectored onto the ILS 31L and landed west/O further problems.

Title: ACR WDB GIVEN THE WRONG FREQ WHILE IN THE N90 TCA ON VECTORS TO JFK.
Narrative: WE WERE ON RADAR VECTORS TO THE ILS 31R AT JFK. WE HAD RECEIVED DELAYING TURNS AND WERE FINALLY TURNED OVER TO THE FINAL APCH CTLR. ALL 3 OF US HEARD THE FREQ AND HEARD THE F/O REPEAT IT. HE CHANGED FREQ AND CALLED NY APCH AND GAVE OUR CALL SIGN, HDG AND ALT. THE CTLR RESPONDED WITH A 'ROGER.' AS WE PASSED THROUGH THE LOC, THE F/O AGAIN CALLED THE CTLR GIVING OUR CALL SIGN, HDG AND ALT. AGAIN THE CTLR RESPONDED WITH, 'ROGER.' I THEN CALLED IN A MORE FORCEFUL TONE AND REQUESTED WHAT HIS INTENTIONS WERE FOR US. HE RESPONDED, 'ARE YOU LNDG EWR?' I REPLIED, 'NO, WE ARE LNDG AT KENNEDY.' HE SENT US OVER TO THE CORRECT JFK APCH FREQ AND WE WERE VECTORED ONTO THE ILS 31L AND LANDED W/O FURTHER PROBS.
