Narrative:

The aircraft took off from ZZZ. [As] we passed 10;000 feet; I started tasting something like metal in my mouth about this time the flight deck called and said we were turning around to go back to ZZZ because they smell something unknown and they had to don the oxygen mask. By this time; the crew was starting to get some symptoms; we took our jump seats and landed back in ZZZ. The aircraft was met by emts and airport police. They took us to different emergency rooms. At the emergency room; they gave me oxygen and did the carbon monoxide test.
