Narrative:

Agent delivered departure papers awab (automated weight and balance data) about 3 mins before departure time. All was in order, or so it seemed. After takeoff the second officer called back the times and fuel information and was given an awab update. The passenger head count increased by 38 and the payload increased by 6802 pounds. The maximum gross weight for that takeoff was not exceeded but the performance figures (v-spds) were off. The matter is under investigation by our own weight and balance people as well as our safety folks.
