Narrative:

We had cleared for approach and to descend at our discretion. I checked the chart for MEA between dru and mso on V2 MEA listed at 8900' MSL I descended to 9000'. Mso approach asked our altitude. We reported 9000'. The controller informed us that the MEA on V2 had been raised by NOTAM eff 10-thu-90 to 10000' MSL. WX was VFR and airport was in sight. We were subsequently cleared for visibility approach. I think that NOTAMS for arwys associated with airport terminals should appear with the associated terminals NOTAMS and not hidden in the hard to read and find chart NOTAMS section.

Narrative: WE HAD CLRED FOR APCH AND TO DSND AT OUR DISCRETION. I CHKED THE CHART FOR MEA BTWN DRU AND MSO ON V2 MEA LISTED AT 8900' MSL I DSNDED TO 9000'. MSO APCH ASKED OUR ALT. WE RPTED 9000'. THE CTLR INFORMED US THAT THE MEA ON V2 HAD BEEN RAISED BY NOTAM EFF 10-THU-90 TO 10000' MSL. WX WAS VFR AND ARPT WAS IN SIGHT. WE WERE SUBSEQUENTLY CLRED FOR VIS APCH. I THINK THAT NOTAMS FOR ARWYS ASSOCIATED WITH ARPT TERMINALS SHOULD APPEAR WITH THE ASSOCIATED TERMINALS NOTAMS AND NOT HIDDEN IN THE HARD TO READ AND FIND CHART NOTAMS SECTION.
