Narrative:
Cleared per tower for runway 36 takeoff and I took off from parallel taxiway thinking this was runway 36. Controller asked that I call lse tower upon reaching my destination (dbq). When talking with lse tower controller on the phone, she (tower) stated she'd report it to FSDO. There was also a plane at the other end of taxiway which I saw after takeoff.
