Narrative:
We have just started using these gates approx. One month ago. The lead-in lines and envelope markings are non-existent. There is a great deal of confusion exhibited by the inbound pilots since they cannot tell where to line up the aircraft on arrival. The lack of markings of the envelope also creates a safety hazard since it is unclear where it is safe to park equipment.
