Narrative:
While waiting to cross [the runway] behind an airbus; ground keyed the mic and began to give the instruction to cross when suddenly a loud automated 'taxiway' alert was heard in the background and the controller told [the airbus] to hold. Due to the odd transmission I looked up to see the navigation and landing lights of [a corporate jet] right over the tail of [the airbus] suddenly pull up and fly right overhead. [The corporate jet] had appeared to have lined up to land on [the] taxiway.
