While shooting the 09R RNAV approach; ATC directed us to abort the approach and go around for drone activity near the landing runway. We executed the missed approach; entered holding until the airport was clear of the drone activity. Also; during our base turn to final; prior to our go around; we came within 1/2 mile of a para glider at our same altitude near the vusag waypoint.
