Narrative:
I was working south departure during busy traffic. I was working approximately 12 aircraft at the time of the error. Large transport Z was given a turn to 140 degree heading. Large transport X had just departed rdu acknowledge the turn ('heading 140, large transport X.'). Light transport Y departed rdu heading 090 degrees. Did not call departure after being told by local control 90 seconds before to contact departure. Light transport Y did not ARTS acquire until 2900' and still not talking to departure (not radar idented). At 3000' the C/a on light transport Y and large transport X went off. The initial call to light transport Y from the departure controller was a traffic alert/advisory. Light transport Y advised that large transport X was in sight and was told to maintain visibility sep. I was pulled off position and decertified because large transport X took the wrong turn. I didn't hear or catch the readback, possibly because I was doing some coordination with my handoff controller sitting next to me.

Title: LGT TOOK HEADING ASSIGNED TO COMPANY LGT AND CTLR MISSED THE READBACK. LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION OCCURRED BETWEEN LGT AND SMT.
Narrative: I WAS WORKING S DEP DURING BUSY TFC. I WAS WORKING APPROX 12 ACFT AT THE TIME OF THE ERROR. LGT Z WAS GIVEN A TURN TO 140 DEG HDG. LGT X HAD JUST DEPARTED RDU ACKNOWLEDGE THE TURN ('HDG 140, LGT X.'). LTT Y DEPARTED RDU HDG 090 DEGS. DID NOT CALL DEP AFTER BEING TOLD BY LCL CTL 90 SECS BEFORE TO CONTACT DEP. LTT Y DID NOT ARTS ACQUIRE UNTIL 2900' AND STILL NOT TALKING TO DEP (NOT RADAR IDENTED). AT 3000' THE C/A ON LTT Y AND LGT X WENT OFF. THE INITIAL CALL TO LTT Y FROM THE DEP CTLR WAS A TFC ALERT/ADVISORY. LTT Y ADVISED THAT LGT X WAS IN SIGHT AND WAS TOLD TO MAINTAIN VIS SEP. I WAS PULLED OFF POS AND DECERTIFIED BECAUSE LGT X TOOK THE WRONG TURN. I DIDN'T HEAR OR CATCH THE READBACK, POSSIBLY BECAUSE I WAS DOING SOME COORD WITH MY HDOF CTLR SITTING NEXT TO ME.
