Narrative:
I was the captain for flight from vhhh and once again; was presented with a cargo load containing lithium batteries. Once again; I requested additional information regarding the load and could not secure any information regarding what we were carrying; how it was packaged; whether it was inert; etc. There is no guidance in our [manuals] regarding lithium batteries in the cargo hold. Until there is or until I can get a satisfactory answer to my questions when presented with this cargo; I will continue to refuse carrying it on my aircraft.

ONCE AGAIN; I requested additional information regarding the load and could not secure ANY information regarding what we were carrying; how it was packaged; whether it was inert; etc. THERE IS NO GUIDANCE IN OUR [manuals] REGARDING LITHIUM BATTERIES IN THE CARGO HOLD. Until there is or until I can get a satisfactory answer to my questions when presented with this cargo; I will continue to refuse carrying it on my aircraft.
