Narrative:

L37 no longer (since 1987) located where shown on map. It is approximately 20 ft X 4900 ft and at 5500 ft MSL. It is located on the phx sectional about where the 'K' in 'canyon park' appears. Discovered by a flying club making their annual food drop to the huvasai indians. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: reporter indicated that the indian tribe had built a new airport with pavement approximately 5 mi north of the old strip (still shown on the chart). The new strip is not shown on the chart and the old strip has been abandoned. Reporter thought the indian tribe had forwarded the information to NOAA, but was not certain.
